MOTHER RUSSIA

February 25, 2010

The second installment in my  World War Two Zombie minicomic madness.

Stalingrad, 1944
The Fascists came in 1942 to push the Communists off of their exalted leader’s name sake. The Communists resisted, making it an open grave for nearly two million soldiers and civilians. Like a knife fight in a phone booth the fighting was up close and gruesome. It was said that the Fascists would hold the kitchen while the Communists regrouped in the living room. Some thing more insidious than war, has swept over this battered city rendering the point moot. The dead have risen and the sounds of combat have been replaced with the moans of the undead. All the guns have gone silent… save for one.
